Blanket America at Minnie's Food Pantry

(March 24, 2010) Plano, Texas - Blanket America visited Minnie's Food Pantry in Plano, Texas to distribute blankets. Texas leads the nation with highest percentage of families who are food insecure. Minnie's Food Pantry is helping these families by providing free groceries with quality food. As a community-based organization committed to the elimination of hunger, Blanket America was excited excited to contribute to this shared goal.

Blanket America Distributes Blankets in Harlem

(February 26, 2010) Harlem, New York - Blanket America distributed blankets to the homeless at Praxis Housing, New York City's largest provider of transitional housing for homeless people, on one of the snowiest days of the year. Afterwards, we interviewed Floyd Cuevas, Director of Operations, about the challenge of breaking the cycle of homelessness and the difficulty of being heard on video.
